Before you start

  • If the peanut butter is stiff, warm it for 15-30 seconds in the microwave.

Step by step

  1. Step 1: Soften the peanut butter

If it is stiff, warm the peanut butter for 15-30 seconds in the microwave and stir.

It’s right if… It runs when stirred.

  2. Step 2: Mix

In the bowl, mix the protein, peanut butter and 25 g of yogurt with the fork, pressing against the sides.

It’s right if… At first it is crumbs. As you keep mixing, it comes together into a dough.

  3. Step 3: Adjust the texture

Press the dough with the fork.

It’s right if… It looks like raw cookie dough: soft and holds together in a ball.

If it goes wrong… If it is dry and crumbly, add yogurt 5 g at a time (up to 30 g in total). If it is sticky, one more teaspoon of protein.

  4. Step 4: Add the chips

Stir in the chocolate chips and the pinch of salt, if using.

  5. Step 5: Eat or chill

Eat it now or, if you prefer it firmer, leave it in the fridge for 30 minutes.

How to tell it’s going well

  • When mixing: crumbs turn into dough.
  • Texture: soft, holds together in a ball.
  • After the fridge (optional): firmer, like chilled cookie dough.

If this happens…

It is dry
Yogurt 5 g at a time, mixing well in between.
It is sticky
1 more teaspoon of protein.
Too sweet
A pinch of salt balances the sweetness.

How to store it

  • In the fridge, in a sealed container, for up to 3 days.
  • It freezes in small balls for up to 3 months. Thaw for 10-15 minutes at room temperature.
