Quality

Quality: what we do before your tub or bottle reaches you

Quality from the source: our own formula, made in Spain with IFS Food and BRCGS certification, and every batch traceable. We are a company from Girona and our labels state exactly what you are taking.

How we work

Five steps before the tub reaches you

The five quality steps: we choose the raw material, with its technical data sheet; the product is made in Spain with IFS Food and BRCGS Food Safety certification; every batch is traceable and the label states what you are taking. We choosethe rawmaterialWith itstechnicaldata sheetIFS andBRCGSproductionTraceablebatchLabelledwith what'sinsideIFS · BRCGScertified production in Spain
Every tub carries its batch number, so its history can be traced from start to finish.

1. We choose the raw material

We start from the ingredient, the form and the dose that have been studied, with raw materials to clear specifications: micronised creatine monohydrate at 200 mesh, anchovy oil with 18% EPA and 12% DHA, CLA from safflower oil at 80% or microfiltered whey protein isolate.

2. With its technical data sheet

Every raw material arrives with its supplier's technical data sheet and its specifications: what it is, where it comes from, what it is like (for example, its concentration or particle size) and how it should be stored. It is the reference that keeps every production run the same as the last.

Raw materials on a stone worktop: white creatine powder, fish oil softgels, safflower flowers and a glass of water.

3. Certified production in Spain

Our formulas are blended, packed and labelled in Spain, with IFS Food and BRCGS Food Safety certification, two of the benchmark food safety standards in the food industry. From Girona, we design every formula and choose its raw materials.

4. Every batch, traceable

Every tub and bottle carries its batch number, so that its history can be traced from start to finish: raw material, manufacture and dispatch. If a product ever had to be checked or withdrawn, the batch number shows exactly which containers are affected.

5. Labels that state what you are taking

Each product page tells you how much each serving contains, with its ingredients and allergens. We use the health claims authorised by the European Union with their official wording and, for each ingredient, we link you to what its studies say. To know what to look for on any tub or bottle, whatever the brand, read our guide how to read a food supplement label.

What IFS Food means

IFS Food (International Featured Standards) is an international food safety and quality standard for companies that manufacture or pack food, launched by German and French retailers and recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). An independent certification body audits the HACCP plan, the control of suppliers and raw materials, hygiene, allergens, traceability and how a product would be withdrawn.

What BRCGS Food Safety means

BRCGS Food Safety (formerly BRC) was created in the United Kingdom by the major retailers and is also recognised by the GFSI. It is likewise based on HACCP and checked through independent audits: premises, product and process control, allergens, foreign bodies, staff and traceability. Neither is required by law; many European retailers ask their suppliers for them.

How to read the batch number on your tub or bottle

The batch number identifies the containers made under the same conditions. It is printed on the container: a code of letters and numbers that, under EU rules, is usually preceded by the letter “L”. The label also shows the best-before date: until then, the product keeps its properties if you store it as indicated.

Dispatched from Spain

Every order leaves Spain for mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and mainland Portugal. The box is closed with a security seal that leaves a visible mark if anyone peels it off; if it arrives broken, follow the steps in delivery and returns.

Company health registration

Nutri Gains S.L. is listed in the Spanish General Health Register of Food Companies and Foods (RGSEAA) under the numbers 26.025358/GI and 40.094174/GI. It is the official register of the Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN); “GI” stands for Girona. Food supplements are not registered: they are notified to the health authority before they go on sale.

Where we put the money

Into the raw material and into IFS Food and BRCGS certified production, at a reasonable price: our creatine works out at €0.17 a day.
