Before you start
- Melt the coconut oil if it is solid: 10-15 seconds in the microwave.
- Make room in the fridge for the two jars.
Step by step
-
Step 1: Grind the oats
Blitz the oats into a coarse flour.
-
Step 2: Make the base
In a bowl, mix the oats with the coconut oil, peanut butter and milk.
It’s right if… It looks like damp sand and packs together when pressed.
If it goes wrong… If it crumbles, add 1 more tablespoon (15 ml) of milk.
-
Step 3: Press the base
Divide the base between the 2 glasses and press it down with the back of a spoon. Put the glasses in the fridge for 5 minutes.
It’s right if… A firm layer 1.5-2 cm deep.
-
Step 4: Make the cream
In the other bowl, whisk the yogurt with the soft cheese, then add the protein in two goes, whisking until there are no lumps.
It’s right if… A smooth, thick, chocolate-coloured cream.
If it goes wrong… If it is too thick to spread, add 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of milk.
-
Step 5: Assemble the jars
Spoon the cream over the bases and smooth the top.
-
Step 6: Chill
Leave the jars in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. Add the strawberries and grated chocolate when serving.
It’s right if… The cream is cold and holds on the spoon. It is a spoonable cream, not a cake you can turn out.

How to tell it’s going well
- Base: damp sand that packs together.
- Cream: smooth and thick, no lumps.
- After the fridge: cold and creamy, spoonable.
If this happens…
- The base falls apart
- More milk (15 ml) and press it down firmly.
- The cream is lumpy
- Add the protein in two goes and whisk for longer.
- The cream is runny
- Use Greek yogurt or skyr, not ordinary yogurt, and leave it longer in the fridge.
How to store it
- In the fridge, covered, for up to 2 days. The base softens over time.
- Add the fruit just before eating.
- Not suitable for freezing.
